Vera Sacchetti (Lisbon, 1983) writes about design and architecture for both sides of the Atlantic. She has contributed to Change Observer, Metropolis POV, The Architect's Newspaper, Disegno, The New City Reader, Arte Capital and Próximo Futuro/Next Future; co-edited "At Water's Edge," the first in the D-Crit chapbook series; and is a founding partner at Superscript, a New York-based editorial consultancy working with architecture and design firms.

Vera holds a BFA in Communication Design and is a recent graduate of D-Crit, SVA’s MFA in Design Criticism, which she attended as a Fulbright scholar.

As a Portuguese living between Lisbon and New York, she is, like the swallows back home, very much in favor of impermanence.
