FROM HANDS TO MIND
EXHIBITION — LISBOA
An exhibition presenting the results of a research and development project focussing on Portuguese-speaking African nations, exploring processes linked with project culture and local contemporary artisanal objects, departing from the central question: what is design in Africa?

This first presentation during the 2015 Biennale comprehends the first phase of the project – the mapping of skills associated with local artisanal production in 3 Portuguese-speaking African countries, Angola, Mozambique and Sao Tome and Principe, encompassed by a contemporary project culture perspective.
