Ahn Jun

Ahn Jun (KR)

Photographer mainly known for her Self-Portrait series taken from high rise buildings of several cities. Graduated in art history at the University of Southern California, in 2006, she was then introduced to photography, and received her MFA at Pratt and Parsons in 2013. Currently she enrolled a PHD program in Photography at Hongik University in Korea. Her work tries to investigate the hidden beauty of the world beyond our perception. She has exhibited worldwide and had 6 solo shows in Korea, USA, Hong Kong, and Switzerland.

Alejandro Magallanes

Alejandro Magallanes (MX)

(b. 1972, Mexico City) Graphic designer who plays and works with images and letters, either for requested work or just for pleasure. He has written 9 children’s books and published ¿Con qué rima tima? within the poetry collection, by publishing house Almadía. Pasado en limpio, his last poetry book, was recently published by Ediciones Acapulco. Magallanes works mainly for social and cultural media. His graphic design and poster design works have been published in three monographs. He is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) since 2004.

Ana Schefer

Ana Schefer (PT)

Lives and works between London and Porto. Has studied Communication Design at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. She was a Alan Fletcher scholar in the Master in Design at the Central St Martins, London. Co-founder of Projecto Papel editorial project, and of the mobile and temporary studies program Travelogue Summer School. She defines her practice has an approaching vehicle to other disciplines. She develops educative and editorial projects that can activate collective production means in order to debate and propose alternatives to established narratives.

This design studio is composed by communication designers João Araújo (b.1987, Viana do Castelo) and Rita Huet (b.1988, Porto), that live and work in Porto. The collective creates projects that search for balance between a strong conceptual and formal approach, through fundamented and logical solutions, with a genuine interest for graphic and typographic composition and exploration.
