Wicker lamp production
WORKSHOP
Low tech/handmade laboratory gathers 6 designers that present their work by doing it.
The goal is to show what happens in an atelier. The public is invited to participate in this laboratory by learning and working techniques, from wickerwork to ceramics, but using materials such as plastic or wood. Each workshop has a different theme, depending on the work of the designer in charge. The aim is to create an object using the techniques taught, through practice.
With the arrival of plastic, wickerwork is becoming a forgotten technique. In this workshop, our aim is to present wickerwork techniques and production processes, through direct contact with the materials and by building a lamp.
