MERITA – WHERE CHAMBER MUSIC, CULTURAL HERITAGE AND TALENT MEET

The application call for the European project MERITA – where chamber Music, hERitage and TAlent meet – is now online! MERITA is an online and offline platform that increases the visibility and circulation of emerging European string quartets while promoting European cultural heritage. It is founded on the principles of innovation, training and development, promotion and sustainability.

experimentadesign is one of the 17 partners of this programme, the only representative of Portugal. The organisation is responsible for conceiving three residencies directed to three quartets, continuing to explore the relationship between classical music and contemporary culture.

The new European Project MERITA – where chamber Music, cultural hERItage and TAlent meet has won the European call Europa Creativa – European Platforms 2021 and has obtained a co-financing from the European Union, amounting to € 2.100.000.
