FIRST STONE PRESENTS 3 DOCUMENTARY FILMS ON RTP2 After 8 international exhibitions, during the month of October First Stone presents a series of 3 documentary films in partnership with Portuguese television network RTP, about the projects it has been developing over the past 2 years, involving 23 of the most internationally renowned designers and architects. 
Focussing on Portuguese Stone and the different projects that the First Stone programme originated, this series of documentary films reveals the various aspects of the life of this raw-material, covering its existence in nature, its extraction, and finally its transformation, presented in the context of innovative ideas and the development of specific projects. Each documentary follows one of the three main projects of the programme, including their international presentations, which took place between 2016 and 2017. Saturday 6 October at 8:20pm on RTP2 RESISTANCE brought together a group of 10 architecture ateliers and was presented during the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale, and at the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein during Art Basel 2017. Saturday 13 October at 8:20pm on RTP2 STILL MOTION involved 6 graphic design studios in an exhibition at La Triennale de Milano during MIART and the Salone del Mobile di Milano in 2017. Saturday 20 October at 8:20pm on RTP2 COMMON SENSE presented the work of 8 product design studios in two exhibitions in São Paulo, one at the Lina Bo Bardi Glass House and another at MADE in the São Paulo Biennale Pavilion in 2017.
