Frederico Duarte

After having studied communication design in Lisbon, and having worked as a designer in Kuala Lumpur and Treviso, Frederico (Lisbon, 1979) joined the Associação Experimenta team from 2003 to 2006. Having worked in curating, programming and communication at ExperimentaDesign and other projects, he was also assistant curator of product design for the [P] — Design de Portugal exhibition, with shows in Milan and Lisbon. He is currently working as a freelance designer, curator and journalist with various projects and publications. From September 2008, he takes part of the Design Criticism MFA programme’s first class at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
