Lilli Hollein, born 1972, works as Director of a festival, curator and architecture and design critic. She has been published widely in daily newspapers and magazines at home and abroad and acted as commissioner of the Austrian contribution for the Sao Paulo Architecture Biennial 2007. Together with Tulga Beyerle and Thomas Geisler as Neigungsgruppe Design she has been curating a series of international design conferences at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and founded VIENNA DESIGN WEEK of which she is Director. VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is a festival with curated and often commissioned content and more than 37.000 international visitors, that took place for the first time in October 2007. Since 2010 she has acted as jury President of KÖR Art in Public Spaces, Vienna.
