Born 1952, graduated from the Moscow Institute of Telecommunication (1974) and the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1986). Publications include 15 books and 500 articles. Editor of the design magazines: Greatis (1992-1994), Union of Designers (1996-1998), Advertising (1983-1991), Art Director of Truth and Life Christian Magazine (1994-2009) and invited Editor of Interni (since 2011). Organizer of 100 design events in Russia and abroad. President of the Golden Bee - Moscow Global Biennale of Graphic Design (since 1992). Head of the High Academic School of Graphic Design (since 1997). Vice-President of the Academy of Graphic Design (since 2011). Decorated by the Golden Honorary Badge of Public Respect, Rodchenko Award, Honourable Diploma of U.N. Council for Public Awards. He is a member of the Society of Designers of Russia, Society of Designers of Ukraine (Honour Member), Brno Biennale Association (Honour Member) and AGI (since 2013), among others.
