A versatile space that continues to represent the main interface of the Biennale with the general public as well as with the various media outlets that gravitate to Lisbon to cover its events.

Located at Convento da Trindade, the Lounging Space is the epicentre of the Biennale within the city, serving as a meeting point, information centre, bar-lounge and press centre. Containing one of the main Biennale exhibitions, this space also represents a platform where the public can collet information materials, as well as purchase publications and choose from the selection of products available at the (e) Store.

Serving as a vehicle for communication, the Lounging Space also integrates a sponsor’s area, dedicated to the development of specific benefits under the responsibility of the Biennale partners and sponsors. Along with a specific on-going programming, this space also houses the Biennale’s Education Service.
