Aishwarya Pathy is the Co-Founder of India Design Forum (www.indiadesignforum.com), director of CoCCA (Coimbatore Centre for Contemporary Art) and founder of Contemplate, a non-profit art initiative in South India. Aishwarya graduated with a B.A. in Theatre and Dramatic Literature from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, U.S.A. Post her studies, Aishwarya worked as a graphic designer in Dublin, Ireland. She is also an artist. Her work has been shown at Gallery Nature Morte in New Delhi and Gallery BMB in Mumbai. She has apprenticed under renowned artists like Janet Echelman and Mia Westerlund Roosen.

Aishwarya is also a director of CoCCA (Coimbatore Centre for Contemporary Art) which will open its doors to students from all over Asia in 2014. It is a multidisciplinary centre for design education and will also serve as a laboratory for design thinkers. CoCCA will be affiliated with several renowned educational institutions from the U.S. and Europe and will collaborate with them in running short programs throughout the year across different cities in India.
