He published his first international books on the nature of Al Qaeda, the Arab Spring, the death of Bin Laden and the comparison of the Wall Street, Eurozone and Portuguese crises. For the last decade, he has been a part of the SIC Notícias television programme “Sociedade das Nações”, the eldest TV broadcast segment dedicated to international politics.
