Short for San Francisco, the nickname Frisco is despised by the city’s natives and only used by uncool foreigners. Intentionally inappropriate, the title fits this project like a glove: giving visibility to the work of alternative, artist-run venues in peripheral cities vis-à-vis leading arts centres.
