In 2003, the extinct Smoke the Pipe (Évora, Portugal) gave rise to The Rose Buttons, with the valuable addition of guest features by Hugo Frota, lead singer of Houdini Blues. This EP, inspired by the culinary ex-libris of Mealhada, was made using serigraph and black and white photocopies.
