DOIS TEMPOS (video recording of intervention), 2009
"Dois Tempos" (Two Times) is a reflection on time and the current state of affairs, achieved by means of a typographical intervention at the Hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, in Lisbon. Suggestive newspaper headlines, laced with humour and strangeness, were re-presented at street level, with variable luminosity and volume, on the building’s façade, 24-hours a day. At night, the façade is transformed into a huge light-box where the text is progressively separated from the background by increasing its contrast and legibility.
