Material: Scratched glass with a diamond tip
In this one-off vase glass is treated as a first-class material, in contrast to scratchitti as representing outsider culture and street aesthetic expression. Chosen from Portuguese glass company Ivima’s current production, the pieces were then vandalized with sentences from magazines. “Turn the dark on” was taken from a 90s issue of Face magazine.
