The projects developed by the brand Pick It are inclusive, collaborative and center on the dialogue between individual and community. They aim to reassert the value while raising the visibility of underprivileged social groups. By close involvement in these individuals’ everyday lives, the designer is able to find sustainable answers and solutions. The co-production of one-of-a-kind handbags with elderly people living in care institutions gives them back a sense of social recognition and economic empowerment.
