EXD’11/LISBOA draws to a close on November 27. The last ten days of the biennale allow for an opportunity to experience exclusive, original content in the form of exhibitions, lectures and workshops housed in surprising venues around the emblematic area of downtown Lisbon.
Next week’s highlights include Casa Museu Medeiros e Almeida’s invasion by weeds in Henrique Neves’ “
Azedas e Intrometidas”, one of the biennale’s
Tangent projects (opens November 22, 6.30PM); the Biblioteca Camões — one of the venues of the Sidelines exhibition — will host a
discussion on collecting publications, with collector and journalist Susana Pomba, designer Luís Miguel and design critic Mário Moura (free admission, November 23, 6.30PM); and at Cinemateca Portuguesa, filmmaker Klaus Wyborny will address
Some Points About Robert Breer and Consequences for Modern Filmmaking (free admission, November 28, 6PM).
Explore the city throughout the biennale’s itineraries, discover unknown locations, engage in the
Education Service’s varied activities, and enjoy EXD’11/LISBOA before we say goodbye — and until 2013!
