CORPO DE BAILE (posters), 2005
A creation of choreographer Miguel Pereira, in Corpo de Baile the voyeur's gaze slides from the human figure to concentrate on the multicoloured garments being put on and taken off on stage. The challenge was to design a poster that conveyed that sense of dynamism and colour, whilst responding to the choreographer's request that the poster should not just be for information, but rather an integral part of the performance. Using scraps of fabric screen printed in a single colour, it was possible to produce around 50 different patterns.
