COMPACT DISCOTHÈQUE (flyers), 2003-2007
The name of the evening sessions hosted and DJed by Nuno Coelho alludes to the format used and to electronic dance music in the spirit of the so-called "club culture". In this series developed for the monthly performances at Triplex, Porto, the designer turned to the imagery of graphic arts, in a language meant to be simple, easy to read, direct and interactive. An economy of means was favoured as the flyers were printed using a maximum of two colours and/or resorting to outside elements.
