PRESIDENT OF EXPERIMENTADESIGN PARTICIPATES IN SEMINAR ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT MANAGEMENT AND MODERNIZATION IN THE TOWN OF PAREDES
Guta Moura Guedes was a guest speaker in the 5th edition of the Seminar on Local Government Management and Modernization, themed "Creative Regions – Vision and Implementation".
Held at the Auditorium of Fundação A Lord, on May 17 & 18, this is an initiative of Smart Vision a Portuguese consultancy and auditing firm specialising in the public sector, in partnership with municipalities. The goal is to present and discuss innovative ideas and strategies for local government management. Integrated in Panel II "Creative Regions", Guta Moura Guedes’ address focused on the stimulating potential of creative industries on development.
The programme of this two-day seminar featured several leading figures from Portugal’s academic, cultural and corporate fields, as well as experts on public management and local government officials, including António Câmara Professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and CEO of YDreams; Ana Lehman, Vice-President of the North Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-N); the former Minister of Economy Augusto Mateus; the Mayor of Paredes Celso Ferreira and Teresa Salis Gomes, Head of Training in E-learning, Education and Communication at INA, the Portuguese National Institute for Public Administration.
