Before the act of confession, the penitent user should examine his conscience:

1º- You shall not have strange Gods before me;
2 º- You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain;
3º- Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day;
4º- Honour your father and your mother;
5º- You shall not kill;
6º- You shall not commit adultery;
7º- You shall not steal;
8º- You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour;
9º- You shall not covet your neighbour’s wife;
10º- You shall not covet your neighbour’s goods;

iConfess is a bench for two people. A meeting place. It is also a confessional, of which the name is due to the use of two iPads aimed at the act of confession. It possesses a central division that avoids direct visual contact of the user, replaced by a projection of a real image, through the use of virtual communication software like FaceTime or Skype. Its construction will be made of black cork used to acoustic isolation.

iConfess confronts the virtual communication act in the same real space. The chapel Ermida Nossa Senhora da Conceição is the ideal real space for an intimate relationship between users and the object.
